  2. Mandatory break after 2 hours (120 minutes) of continuous study (auto logout enforced)

Can I Finish the Course as Soon as I reach the 24 Hours of Course Time?
No. Reaching the 24-hour Course Time requirement does not mean the course is complete. To officially finish the Ohio Class D, 24-Hour Online Driver Education Course, you must:

  1. Complete every module and page in order,
  2. Pass all quizzes and tests with 75% or higher, and
  3. Take and pass the Final Exam.
    1. The Final Exam becomes available only after you complete the full course.
    2. Meeting the time requirement alone is not enough to receive your Completion Certificate.

Do I Have to Take and Pass a Test or Final Exam to Complete the Course?
  1. Video Questions: If answered incorrectly, the video must be re-watched before you may continue.
  2. Module Quizzes & Tests: Each Module ends with a Test, and a minimum passing score of 75% is required to move forward.
    • If a Quiz/Test score is below 75%:
      1. The incorrect questions must be reviewed before retesting.
      2. The Quiz/Test may be retaken as many times as needed until a passing score is achieved.
  3. Final Exam: The course concludes with a 50-question multiple-choice Final Exam, which also requires a minimum passing score of 75%.
    • You have three (3) attempts to pass the Final Exam.
    • The Final Exam may be attempted only once per calendar day.
    • If all 3 attempts are unsuccessful, the entire course must be repeated, and a reinstatement fee will apply.

Do I Need the Latest Version of the Driver’s Ed Mobile Portal?
Yes. You must always use the latest version to ensure proper course timing, page loading, and quiz functionality. Most issues, such as pages not loading, timers not working, or login errors, are caused by using an outdated version of the portal.

  • Accurate Ohio DPS-required time tracking
  • Smooth performance
  • Bug fixes and improved stability

Once updated, simply reopen the Mobile Portal and continue your course.
