WHAT WE OFFER:
Eligibility Requirements: To enroll in the Ohio Class D, 24-Hour Online Driver Education Course Mobile/APP Version, you must:
- Be at least 15 years and 5 months old
- Have regular access to the internet or mobile data
- Complete our online registration form
- Submit payment before course activation (after payment, you will receive a Payment Confirmation Email with instructions on how to download our App)
Time Requirements:
- This 100% Online/Mobile App Course is approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety (DPS) and meets all state requirements for the Class D, 24-Hour Driver Education Course.
- The course covers the State-mandated twenty-four (24) hours of course content, aligned with the Ohio Driver Training Curriculum. 24 hours is the minimum course time requirement; however, there is no maximum.
- All coursework, including the Final Exam, must be completed within 180 days from the date you begin the course. If you do not complete the course within this allotted time frame, you will be required to start over, and a reinstatement fee will be applicable.
System Timers (Required by DPS):
Login Time: Total time logged into your account.
Course Time: Time actively spent reading course pages, watching videos, or completing tests.
Consecutive Time Limit: After 2 hours (120 minutes) of continuous study, the system will automatically log you out for a mandatory 15-minute break.
Daily Time Limit: You may complete a maximum of 4 hours (240 minutes) of training per calendar day. After 4 hours, the system will log you out, and you may resume the next day.
Idle Time: If there are 15 minutes of inactivity, you will be logged out, and idle time will not count toward your course time.

Testing Requirements:
This Online/Mobile App Course includes Module Quizzes, Tests, and a Final Exam. Throughout the program, short learning checkpoints will appear to confirm understanding. You will also be required to answer a question after each instructional video.
-> Video Questions: If answered incorrectly, the video must be re-watched before you may continue.
-> Module Quizzes & Tests: Each Module ends with a Test, and a minimum passing score of 75% is required to move forward.
If a Quiz/Test score is below 75%:
- The incorrect questions must be reviewed before retesting.
- The Quiz/Test may be retaken as many times as needed until a passing score is achieved.
-> Final Exam: The course concludes with a 50-question multiple-choice Final Exam, which also requires a minimum passing score of 75%.
- You have three (3) attempts to pass the Final Exam.
- The Final Exam may be attempted only once per calendar day.
- If all three attempts are unsuccessful, the entire course must be repeated, and a reinstatement fee will apply.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Once our Certified Instructor issues your Completion Certificate, you will receive it via email.
Student Information Accuracy: Students are responsible for ensuring that all registration and profile information matches the name and details on their Learner’s Permit. If incorrect information is provided and a certificate is issued with those errors, a fee will be required to reissue a corrected certificate.
With your Completion Certificate, you can begin the 8 hours of in-car instruction. Since we are only the online course provider, you will need to contact the driving school of your choice to schedule your in-car lessons.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Payments: Course payments are processed by Costech Technologies or Costech USA. Your receipt will display one of these names. Payments must be made by Credit Card (Debit Cards are not accepted).
Device Requirements: After downloading our App, make sure you are using the latest version for the best performance. Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to confirm you have the most current update installed. This course must be taken exclusively on a mobile device (phone or tablet). Using a laptop or desktop may cause technical issues or poor performance.
Privacy & Security: We collect only the information necessary to administer the course and verify student identity. Your information is encrypted and is never sold or used for unrelated marketing. Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized course Administrators or Instructors for tasks such as updating progress, verifying identity, and issuing Completion Certificates.
Reinstatement Fees & Course Reset: If you do not complete the course within your 180-day access period, or if you fail the Final Exam three times, a Reinstatement Fee will apply. In accordance with State requirements, your course will be reset and must be completed again from the beginning.
After You Register: Registration is completed on our website. Once the registration form is submitted, the Student and Parent will receive the Welcome Email. This email confirms that you have successfully registered for the Class D, 24-Hour Online Driver Education Course – Mobile Version. Please note that this is not a payment confirmation. Once payment is made, you will receive a Payment Confirmation Email with instructions on how to download our App.
You must complete registration first before downloading the App. The App does not allow account creation - it only allows you to log in using the Username and Password that you created during website registration.
